We’re so glad you're interested in Judy's Kindness Kitchen! Let us tell you a little more about it.
We opened on Thanksgiving Sunday 2004. As of Thanksgiving 2005 we began delivering the Sunday meals to Crossroads Rhode Island in downtown Providence in order to reach a larger number of those in need. Since 2013, in addition to delivering food to Crossroads, we began delivering food to the Emanuel House Homeless Shelter in Providence. In 2020 we added The Rescue Mission to the sites where food is delivered. The number of sandwiches prepared every Sunday has gone from 150 in 2004 to 600 sandwiches now.
